Recently

My boys are so sweet, charming, and happy. I love my own, but of course! Little Miro has become such a happy camper lately. He has learned to sleep through the night at eight hour stretch wohoo! He only cries when hungry and when he soiled his diapers. Other than that, he's great. Just give him a bottle and he will smile at you like you're the most beautiful person in this planet! He's been squealing, giggling, shrieking, jumping, smiling, bouncing, and babbling too much... I bet he would turn out to be as a chatterbox like his kuya.

Kuya Akio is almost five, and he couldn't stop talking about his upcoming party. LOL! He loves airplanes, whales, cars, and bugs. He is eager to learn how to read but still struggles in counting up to twenty. Oh well. He will be in Junior Kindergarten in August... He is still the same charming boy, however, shy and choosy now. He won't warm up to everyone unlike before. I don't know why he acts shy these days... I wonder if he just claims to be shy when he's not interested to talk.

I am bothered by guilt because sometimes I smother the little one with so much kisses and hugs, but I do get irritated with the big boy's nonstop chatter about whatnots. Believe me, it can be quite annoying! Now, I hope to be better since I can sleep well through the night...

B.O.Y.S.

:: miro, three months::
:: akio, four years::

My prayer is that these two will grow up in a wonderful and loving home. And that they will remain the best of friends despite of... may they always be healthy, may they possess a gentle soul, and wits.

I must admit that there are moments during the day where I almost pulled my hair to insanity. Sometimes my own screams are deafening. It's a combination of sleep deprivation, hunger, exhaustion, mess (lots of mess!), noise, heat, and anxiety. Although I snap out of it the moment my "silly goose" aka Kuya throws some punch lines and when "pawpaw" gives me a big smile.

Playing with both boys during the plus the chores that I have to do can be quite challenging. Almost always, chores are left for the weekend (and whenever)... Bed time starts from bath, bottle/sippy cup, and ends with a book or lullaby. When they're both quiet either during an afternoon nap or at night, the silence delights me.

Pawpaw chuckled and giggled for the first time last Friday midnight, he was three months and a week old. It was wonderful to have witnessed it together with Dad. I can't wait for more laughters from our little guy... the noise will be happy chaos in this household!
